Gŵyr Community Land Trust is seeking to appoint a Project Manager to work alongside our members and professional design team throughout the planning, design and construction phases of a development of 14 innovative, zero-carbon community-owned homes in Swansea, South Wales, using a community self-build approach.

In preparing for our community consultation it was imperative for us to not only capture the voices of the local community, but also those within our membership . One such member voice is presented here in this poem, written by a 24 year old vulnerable adult man with autism.

Three years ago, in November 2020, the project that we have now built into our community was founded. The only reason that we have grown and been able to lay the foundations of our future is due to the hard work, dedication and generosity of our volunteers.

This Saturday we are holding a social get together in Rosehill Quarry for people interested in co-housing (weather dependent!). We will have a small marquee to shelter in case of showers.
